Our Story

Our Founder

Ex Machina Insights Inc. was founded in 2022 by Sharan Duggal. After 20+ years of working in the research industry, he developed a desire to approach client needs from a point of neutrality – i.e., not from the perspective of selling a product or service but with the view of seeking out the right solution regardless of where it leads. An independent business was the only answer.

Sharan has worked with companies of all sizes from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies across multiple verticals including, but not limited to, financial services, retail, tech, telecom, energy, and media.

In between his time spent working at large and boutique suppliers, and working directly with clients, Sharan has constantly pursued higher learning, including fellowships and post-graduate degrees in Management, Information Systems, Data Science, and Creative Writing with a view to being your Swiss-army knife to getting creatively scientific.
